​​You can import your logins, credit or debit cards, and secure notes from Bitwarden into ExpressKeys using ExpressKeys app for iOS or Android or the browser extension.

Once your passwords are imported, you can use ExpressKeys to review your password health, identify weak or reused passwords, and update them to improve your security.

Import your Bitwarden data using your computer

In the ExpressKeys browser extension, you can import your data from Bitwarden using a CSV file.

1. Export your Bitwarden data

  1. Log into your Bitwarden account.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Tools.Tools tab on Bitwarden app.
  3. From the dropdown, click Export.Export tab on Bitwarden app.
  4. For File Format, choose .csv.Export passwords as .csv on Bitwarden app.
  5. Enter your master password and click Continue.Export passwords from Bitwarden app.
  6. A CSV file will be saved to your device automatically.

2. Import your Bitwarden data into ExpressKeys

  1. Open the ExpressKeys browser extension.
  2. Click the plus (+) icon.ExpressKeys dashboard, with the add new item plus button highlighted in a green box.
  3. Select Import Logins.ExpressKeys category selection menu with an open dropdown list, with the "Import Logins" option highlighted in a green box.
  4. Select Bitwarden.ExpressKeys "Import Logins" menu with multiple service icons, with the "Bitwarden" option highlighted in a green box.
  5. Click Select CSV file and select the CSV file you exported from Bitwarden.ExpressKeys "Import from Bitwarden" instructions page, with the "Select CSV file" button highlighted in a green box.
  6. Wait for the import to finish.

3. Remove the Bitwarden browser extension

If you’re using the ExpressKeys extension, Bitwarden will continue to prompt you to fill in your logins for sites or services, interfering with ExpressKeys. To prevent this, remove the Bitwarden browser extension.

  1. Open the extensions menu by typing the below text into your search bar:
    • Chrome: Enter chrome://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Edge: Enter edge://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Brave: Enter brave://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Opera: Enter opera://extensions in the search bar.
    • Vivaldi: Enter vivaldi://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Firefox: Enter about:addons in the search bar.Chrome Extensions search bar.
  2. Find Bitwarden and:
    • In a Chromium-based browser: Click Remove > Remove.

Import your Bitwarden data using your iOS device (iOS 26+)

With iOS 26, Apple introduced support for the FIDO Credential Exchange Protocol (CXP), a new standard that enables secure, end-to-end encrypted transfer of credentials directly between compatible apps without the need to export or import files like CSVs.
  1. Open the ExpressKeys app and tap the plus (+) icon.ExpressKeys main screen, with a highlighted plus icon.
  2. Tap Import Logins.The "Import Logins" option in the ExpressKeys app.
  3. Select Bitwarden.The "Import Logins" screen in the ExpressKeys app on iOS, with a highlighted Bitwarden option.
  4. Tap Open Bitwarden.The "Import Logins" screen in the ExpressKeys app on iOS, with a highlighted Bitwarden option.
  5. In the Bitwarden app, tap Settings.

  8. Tap Export vault to another app.Vault on Bitwarden iOS app.
  9. Select the items you want to export, then tap Export items.Export data from Bitwarden iOS app.
  10. Tap Continue.
  11. Select ExpressKeys from the list, then tap Continue.Export data from Bitwarden iOS app.
  12. Tap Continue in “ExpressKeys”.
  13. Wait for the app to import your passwords, then tap Continue.Export data to ExpressKeys from Bitwarden iOS app.

Import your Bitwarden data using your Android device

Follow the steps below to import your Bitwarden data on your Android device:

  1. Open the Bitwarden app.
  2. In the Bitwarden app, tap Settings in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Select Vault.
  4. Tap Export Vault.
  5. Select .csv for the file format, enter your master password, and select Export vault. Select a location on your phone to save the file.
  6. Open the ExpressKeys app.
  7. Tap the + icon in the bottom-right corner.
  8. Select Import Logins.
  9. Tap Bitwarden.
  10. Tap Import CSV and select the .csv file you just downloaded.
  11. Wait for the app to finish importing your passwords, and then tap Continue.
