How to import your logins from Vivaldi into ExpressKeys

You can import your logins from Vivaldi into ExpressKeys using your computer.

Once your passwords are imported, you can use ExpressKeys to review your password health, identify weak or reused passwords, and update them to improve your security.

Import your Vivaldi logins on desktop (CSV method)

In the ExpressKeys browser extension, you can import your data from Vivaldi using a CSV file.

1. Export your logins from Vivaldi

1. Open Vivaldi and click Settings (cog icon).
2. Click Privacy and Security.
3. Scroll down to Passwords and click Export Passwords.
4. Enter your device password and save the CSV file to your computer.

2. Import your logins into ExpressKeys

1. Open the ExpressKeys browser extension.
2. Click the plus (+) icon.
3. Select Import Logins.
4. Select Other.
5. Click Select CSV file and select the CSV file you exported from Vivaldi.
6. Wait for the import to finish.

3. Delete your logins from Vivaldi

Vivaldi will continue to prompt you to fill your logins for sites or services, interfering with ExpressKeys. To prevent this, delete your logins from Vivaldi.

Important: After you delete your logins from Vivaldi, you cannot recover them. Make sure to import all your logins from Vivaldi into ExpressKeys before you delete them.

To delete all your logins at once, follow these steps:

1. Open Vivaldi and click History (sync icon) in the toolbar.
2. Click the brush icon.
3. Select the check box next to Passwords.
4. From the Delete Data for drop-down, select All Time.
5. Click Delete.

To delete your logins individually, follow these steps:

1. Open Vivaldi and click Settings (cog icon).
2. Click Privacy and Security.
3. Click Show Saved Passwords.
4. Click the password you want to delete, then right-click and select Delete Password.

To prevent Vivaldi from autofilling names, emails, and addresses, follow these steps:

1. Open Vivaldi and click Settings (cog icon).
2. Click Privacy and Security.
3. Scroll down to Passwords and untick the box next to Save Webpage Passwords.
4. Under Payment Methods, untick the boxes next to Save and Fill Payment Methods and Allow Sites to Check for Saved Payment Methods.
5. Under Addresses and More, untick the box next to Save and Fill Addresses.
