How to import your logins and other data from Dashlane into ExpressKeys

This guide shows you how to import your logins, credit or debit cards, and secure notes from Dashlane into ExpressKeys using the browser extension or your iOS device.

Once your passwords are imported, you can use ExpressKeys to review your password health, identify weak or reused passwords, and update them to improve your security.

Import your Dashlane data on desktop (CSV method)

In the ExpressKeys browser extensions, you can import your data from Dashlane using a CSV file.

1. Export your Dashlane data

1. Log into your Dashlane account.
2. In the top left, click on the Vault.
3. Click Settings.
4. Select Export data from the sidebar menu.
5. Select Export to CSV.
6. A CSV file will be saved to your device automatically.

2. Import your Dashlane data into ExpressKeys

1. Open the ExpressKeys browser extension.
2. Click the plus (+) icon.
3. Select Import Logins.
4. Select Dashlane.
5. Click Select CSV file and select the CSV file you exported from Dashlane.
6. Wait for the import to finish.

3. Remove the Dashlane browser extension

If you’re using the ExpressKeys extension, Dashlane will continue to prompt you to fill in your logins for sites or services, interfering with ExpressKeys. To prevent this, remove the Dashlane browser extension:

1. Open the extensions menu by typing the below text into your search bar:
   • Chrome: Enter chrome://extensions/ in the search bar.
   • Edge: Enter edge://extensions/ in the search bar.
   • Brave: Enter brave://extensions/ in the search bar.
   • Opera: Enter opera://extensions/ in the search bar.
   • Vivaldi: Enter vivaldi://extensions/ in the search bar.
   • Firefox: Enter about:addons in the search bar.
2. Find Dashlane and:
   • In a Chromium-based browser: Click Remove > Remove.
   • In Firefox: Click the three-dot menu icon, then Remove.

Import your Dashlane data using your iOS device (iOS 26+)

With iOS 26, Apple introduced support for the FIDO Credential Exchange Protocol (CXP), a new standard that enables secure, end-to-end encrypted transfer of credentials directly between compatible apps without the need to export or import files like CSVs.

1. Open the ExpressKeys app and tap the plus (+) icon.
2. Tap Import logins.
3. Tap Dashlane > Open Dashlane.
4. Tap Settings.
5. Tap General.
6. Tap Export data.
7. Select Export data to another app.
8. Select the items you want to export, then tap Continue.
9. Tap Continue.
10. Select ExpressKeys from the list, then tap Continue.
11. Tap Continue in “ExpressKeys”.
12. Wait for the app to import your passwords, then tap Continue.

Import your Dashlane data using your Android device

Dashlane does not allow exporting data on Android. Follow the steps above to import your data using your computer.
