Yes, your ExpressVPN account is designed with security in mind. The account is protected by secure sign-in methods like email verification and encrypted connections.
When you create your account, you are required to create a strong password that:
- Is between 8 and 124 characters.
- Contains at least one number.
- Contains at least one symbol.
To help protect your account from unauthorized access, sign-in attempts are also verified with codes sent to your email address. For additional security, we strongly recommend securing your email account with a strong, unique password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
ExpressKeys (our secure password manager) can help you generate strong passwords.
When you access the ExpressVPN+ dashboard to manage your settings, subscription details, or payment information, your traffic is secured by encrypted HTTPS/TLS protocols.
We have also implemented best-in-class physical, procedural, and technical security measures with respect to our offices and information storage facilities to help prevent the loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification of your personal data.
