What is Dedicated IP for Teams?

Dedicated IP for Teams is an add-on for ExpressVPN Teams that provides your organization with dedicated IP addresses that only your team can use. Unlike regular VPN locations, your dedicated IP uses the same IP addresses each time your team connects.

Using dedicated IPs makes it easier to manage IP allowlists and access permissions across your organization. It also reduces the need to update allowlists when employees work from different locations, which helps your team access internal tools and services more consistently.

When setting up Dedicated IP for Teams, you can choose the country for each dedicated IP location. If your organization needs dedicated IPs in multiple countries, you can purchase multiple dedicated IPs and assign a different location to each one.

Each dedicated IP location includes two static IPv4 addresses hosted on separate servers to help provide continuous availability.

How can I get Dedicated IP for Teams?

To qualify for Dedicated IP for Teams, your organization needs a 1-year or 2-year ExpressVPN for Teams plan.

Is Dedicated IP for Teams different to Dedicated IP?

Yes. Dedicated IP for Teams and Dedicated IP both provide dedicated IP addresses, but they are designed for different types of users.

Both products provide fixed IP addresses that remain the same each time you connect. They are also powered by TrustedServer, our independently audited server technology, which helps protect your privacy by wiping all data on every server reboot.

The main difference is how the dedicated IPs are managed. Dedicated IP is designed for individual users. ExpressVPN does not know which dedicated IP address is assigned to your account.

Dedicated IP for Teams is designed for organizations. To provide and manage the service, ExpressVPN associates each dedicated IP with the organization that purchased it. This allows Teams admins to assign locations and manage dedicated IPs for their users.

Which VPN protocols support Dedicated IP for Teams?
