You can import your logins from Edge into ExpressKeys using your computer.

Once your passwords are imported, you can use ExpressKeys to review your password health, identify weak or reused passwords, and update them to improve your security.

Import your Edge logins using your computer

Export your logins from Edge

  1. Open Edge and click the three dots (More icon.).Microsoft Edge browser.
  2. Select Settings.Microsoft Edge browser settings.
  3. Click Passwords and autofill > Microsoft password manager.Microsoft Edge browser with Microsoft password manager highlighted.
  4. Next to the search bar, click the three dots (More icon.).Microsoft Edge passwords and autofill settings.
  5. Select Export passwords > Export.Microsoft Edge export passwords settings.
  6. Enter your device password and save the CSV file to your computer.

2. Import your logins into ExpressKeys

  1. In Edge, install the ExpressKeys browser extension for Chrome.
  2. In the toolbar, open Extensions (jigsaw icon) and click ExpressKeys.ExpressKeys browser extension in Microsoft Edge.
  3. Click the Options tab > Settings.ExpressKeys settings.
  4. Click Import from existing services.ExpressKeys import from existing services settings.
  5. Select Edge.ExpressKeys import passwords from Edge.
  6. Click Choose File.ExpressKeys import passwords from Edge.
  7. Select the CSV file you exported earlier and click Open.ExpressKeys import passwords from Edge.
  8. Your data will import automatically. You should see a green tick next to your file.ExpressKeys import passwords from Edge.

3. Delete your logins from Edge

Edge will continue to prompt you to fill your logins for sites or services, interfering with ExpressKeys. To prevent this, delete your logins from Edge.

Important: After you delete your logins from Edge, you cannot recover them. Make sure to import all your logins from Edge into ExpressKeys before you delete them.

To delete all your logins at once, follow these steps:

  1. In Edge, click the three dots (More icon.).Microsoft Edge browser.
  2. Click Settings.Microsoft Edge browser settings.
  3. Click Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data.Microsoft Edge browser with clear browsing data highlighted.
  4. Next to Clear browsing data now, click Choose what to clear.Microsoft Edge browser clear browsing data settings.
  5. Select the check box next to Autofill form data (includes forms and cards).Microsoft Edge browser clear autofill form data settings.
  6. Under Time range, select All time from the dropdown.Microsoft Edge browser clear autofill form data settings.

To delete your logins individually, follow these steps:

  1. In Edge, click the three dots (More icon.).Microsoft Edge browser.
  2. Click Settings.Microsoft Edge browser settings.

  4. Click the arrow ("Right" icon.) next to the login you want to delete.Microsoft Edge browser clear passwords settings.

To prevent Edge from filling names, emails, and addresses, follow these steps:

  1. In Edge, click the three dots (More icon.).Microsoft Edge browser.
  2. Click Settings.Microsoft Edge browser settings.

  4. Turn off the toggle next to Save and autofill addresses.Microsoft Edge browser clear passwords settings.
