You can add, update, or remove payment methods on file for your ExpressVPN account from the customer portal. This is only possible if you originally subscribed through the ExpressVPN website. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play must be managed through the respective platform.

Add a new payment method

To add a new payment method:

  1. Go to Payment methods. If prompted, enter your ExpressVPN email and select Send Code. Then enter the verification code sent to your email and select Continue.ExpressVPN sign-in screen with email field and Send Code button.

Edit an existing payment method

To update the details of an existing payment method:

  1. Go to Payment methods. If prompted, enter your ExpressVPN email and select Send Code. Then enter the verification code sent to your email and select Continue.ExpressVPN sign-in screen with email field and Send Code button.

Remove a payment method

Note: Removing your only saved payment method will turn off auto-renewal, and your VPN subscription will expire at the end of your current billing period. To keep your subscription active, add a new payment method before removing the current one.

To remove a payment method:

  1. Go to Payment methods. If prompted, enter your ExpressVPN email and select Send Code. Then enter the verification code sent to your email and select Continue.ExpressVPN sign-in screen with email field and Send Code button.
