Windows
The ExpressVPN Windows app requires Windows 10 or above to run. Find which version of Windows you are using.
If you are using Windows 10 or above, use the ExpressVPN Windows app.
If you are using Windows 11 on ARM64, use the ExpressVPN Windows app for ARM64.
If you are using Windows 8.1 or below:
- Update your version of Windows, or
- If you are unable to update your Windows version, use the OpenVPN manual configuration

Mac
The ExpressVPN Mac app requires macOS 11 (Big Sur) or above. Find which version of Mac you are using.
If you are using macOS 11 (Big Sur) or above, use the ExpressVPN Mac app.
If you are using macOS 10.15 or below, we recommend upgrading to macOS 11 to use the latest version of the ExpressVPN app. If you are unable to do so, you can:
- Use the legacy version of the ExpressVPN app for macOS (requires macOS 10.13 minimum).
- Use an OpenVPN manual configuration.
Note: The ExpressVPN app downloaded from the Mac App Store requires macOS 15 and above. If you are using a version between macOS 11 and 14, please download the app via the ExpressVPN website.

Android
The ExpressVPN Android app requires Android 7 or above to run. Find which version of Android you are using.
If you are using Android 7 or above, use the ExpressVPN Android app.
If you are using Android 6.0.1 or below, update your Android to download the latest version of the app.

iOS
The latest version of the ExpressVPN iOS app requires iOS 15 or above to run. Find which version of iOS you are using.
If you are using a compatible version of iOS, use the ExpressVPN iOS app.
If you are using iOS 14 or below, update your iOS to download the latest version of the app.
