This guide shows you how to import your logins, credit or debit cards, and secure notes from Dashlane into ExpressKeys using your computer or iOS device.

Once your passwords are imported, you can use ExpressKeys to review your password health, identify weak or reused passwords, and update them to improve your security.

Import your Dashlane data using your computer

1. Export your Dashlane data

  1. Log into your Dashlane account.
  2. In the top left, click on the Vault.Dashlane account vault settings.
  3. Click Settings.Dashlane account vault settings.
  4. Select Export data from the sidebar menu.Dashlane account export data.
  5. Select Export to CSV.Dashlane account export data.
  6. A CSV file will be saved to your device automatically.

2. Import your Dashlane data into ExpressKeys

  1. In Chrome, Opera, Edge, Vivaldi, or Brave, install the ExpressKeys browser extension for Chrome.
  2. In the toolbar, open Extensions (jigsaw icon) and click ExpressKeys.ExpressKeys browser extension in Chrome.
  3. Click the Options tab > Settings.ExpressKeys browser extension settings.
  4. Click Import from existing services.ExpressKeys browser extension import from existing services.
  5. Select Dashlane.Import data from Dashlane to ExpressKeys.
  6. Click Choose File.Import data from Dashlane to ExpressKeys.
  7. Select the CSV file you exported earlier and click Open.Import data from Dashlane to ExpressKeys.
  8. Your data will import automatically. You should see a green tick next to your file.Import data from Dashlane to ExpressKeys.

3. Remove the Dashlane browser extension

Dashlane will continue to prompt you to fill your logins for sites or services, interfering with ExpressKeys. To prevent this, remove the DashLane browser extension.

  1. Open the extensions menu by typing the below text into your search bar:
    • Chrome: Enter chrome://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Edge: Enter edge://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Brave: Enter brave://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Opera: Enter opera://extensions/ in the search bar.
    • Vivaldi: Enter vivaldi://extensions/ in the search bar.Chrome extension bar.
  2. Find Dashlane.Dashlane password manager extension in Chrome.
  3. Click Remove > Remove.Remove Dashlane password manager from Chrome.

Import your Dashlane data using your iOS device (iOS 26+)

With iOS 26, Apple introduced support for the FIDO Credential Exchange Protocol (CXP), a new standard that enables secure, end-to-end encrypted transfer of credentials directly between compatible apps without the need to export or import files like CSVs.

  1. Open the ExpressKeys app and tap the plus (+) icon.ExpressKeys iOS app.
  2. Tap Import logins.Import logins to ExpressKeys iOS app.
  3. Tap Dashlane > Open Dashlane.Import logins from Dashlane to ExpressKeys iOS app.
  4. Tap Settings.Settings in Dashlane iOS app.
  5. Tap General.General settings in Dashlane iOS app.
  6. Tap Export data.Export data from Dashlane iOS app.
  7. Select Export data to another app.Export data from Dashlane iOS app.
  8. Select the items you want to export, then tap Continue.Export data from Dashlane iOS app.
  9. Tap Continue.
  10. Select ExpressKeys from the list, then tap Continue.Export data from Dashlane iOS app to ExpressKeys.
  11. Tap Continue in “ExpressKeys”.
  12. Wait for the app to import your passwords, then tap Continue.Export data from Dashlane iOS app to ExpressKeys.

Dashlane does not allow exporting data on Android. Follow the steps above to import your data using your computer.
