This guide will show you how to deactivate and reactivate email aliases in ExpressMailGuard.

When an alias is deactivated, any messages sent to it will be silently discarded. The sender will not be notified of the unsuccessful delivery.

To deactivate an email alias:

  1. On the ExpressMailGuard dashboard, click Aliases.ExpressMailGuard dashboard with Aliases highlighted.
  2. Find the alias you want to deactivate and click the checkbox.ExpressMailGuard Alises tab with the checkbox next to an alias highlighted.
  3. Click Deactivate.ExpressMailGuard Alises tab with the Deactivate button highlighted.

If you want to reactivate an alias:

  1. On the ExpressMailGuard dashboard, click Aliases.ExpressMailGuard dashboard with Aliases highlighted.
  2. Under Display, make sure you select All, Active and Inactive, or Inactive Only to show inactive aliases.ExpressMailGuard Alises tab with the "Display Active and Inactive" dropdown menu highlighted and the "Active and Inactive" option highlighted.
  3. Find the alias you want to reactivate and click the checkbox.ExpressMailGuard Alises tab with the checkbox next to an alias highlighted.
  4. Click Activate.ExpressMailGuard Alises tab with the checkbox next to an alias highlighted.
